The lift table has a threaded sleeve which engages in a rotatable spindle. By turning the spindle, the lifting table can be adjusted in height. The fuel can be supplied to the combustion section against the force of gravity via the lifting table.
DE 36 21 100 A1 describes a grilling device comprising a frame, a grill, a grill pan and an adjustment mechanism for setting a preselected distance between the grill and the ember. The Glutmuldeist rotatably mounted in the frame and can be adjusted via a spindle in its height.

It is particularly advantageous if the spring device is dimensioned in such a way that the burner can be moved automatically in each case to a receiving space of the burner for fuel-corresponding stroke position that has the current fill level of a defined volume. The stroke position is determined by an equilibrium position defined by the weight of the burner and the weight of the fuel contained in the receiving chamber on the one hand, and the spring force acting against the force of gravity of the spring device on the other hand. Furthermore, it can be provided that the burner has a preferably cylindrical burner wall, which is arranged in a preferably housing-fixed burner tube telescopically height-displaceable. The burner tube can be firmly connected to a housing-fixed combustion chamber lid, wherein preferably the combustion chamber lid is firmly connected to at least one guide axis. This allows a consistent combustion quality.
The combustion chamber lid is open at the top and makes it possible to operate the furnace as a chimney for outdoor use and / or as a grill. For air supply, the burner tube and / or the burner wall of the burner - preferably circumferentially - provided with air openings.
In order to achieve optimum combustion, it is particularly advantageous if the burner has a slanted grate in its bottom region and / or in a central region a preferably vertical central grate.
Burner, lifting device and / or spring device are arranged in a combustion chamber formed by the housing, wherein preferably an ash load is arranged below the burner in the combustion chamber.
Below the combustion chamber, a fuel storage space, preferably formed by the housing, may be arranged, and more preferably, the fuel storage space has at least one air supply opening in its wall or floor area.

Thereafter, the ash remaining in the receiving space 19 can be easily removed through the ash opening 23 by opening the slider 24 or the crepe, whereby the ash falls into the tray 7 located thereunder.
